Mood Board |
Like the gritty nature of this picture, with the rusty, run down looking back group. Also like the mood of the shot from the characters body language and the way there placed. Very similar to the overall look to our film, however set in present day.
The overall look to this is England is very similar to what we are trying to create, run down, dull looking surroundings. Filmed on a council estate. However colourful characters, costumes and language. Are choice of characters would also, similar to 'This is England' be complex. Even though show, no sign of remorse when beating someone up, or stealing a DVD player. They have high morals when it comes to being polite to there mates mum.
Like the gritty feel to this shot from 'London to Brighton', and the subtle lighting, so it actually looks like a grimy public toilet.
Really like the green tint to this shot make the whole feel to it colder, and more intense.
This shot from 'Cass', is very similar from the opening shot to our sequence. With a gang walking straight a he camera. Also there surroundings are similar to ours, a block of flats/ council estate
